I posted on a Facebook article reviewing the 4 cylinder Camaro that I found it impressive (my first mistake I know). The replies to my post mostly and hilariously point out that GM is copying Ford by making a turbo 4 cylinder sporting coupe.
I didn't reply, how does one fix that amount of stupid?

I'm in love with this era of cars. Insane power on both small and large engines! Previously there was the guilded era all show and no go. Either now we are in the Golden Age or a Rennaisance.

What’s a “sporting coupe”, ol chap?

Simple, remove all warning labels.

It’s somewhere between the middle. I too love this era of cars.

I’m going to hold judgement on the new Camaro until I actually drive one, but turbo 4 cylinder engines make too much sense nowadays for Chevy not to offer one in this chassis. Great power right out of the box, fuel economy, and the ability to meet ever tightening emissions standards make them a win-win in just about anything.

Important question: dues the turbo 4 Camaro play fake engine sounds through the speakers like the Boostang?

I'm assuming by that point it won't matter as much because of electric and hybrid electric vehicles. Viva la Torque!

Yes, of course, because Ford invented the turbo 4. Just like they invented the world’s first car, the Model T.

There’s a resonator that can be disabled but all the reviews say that it’s actually pretty quiet and doesn't hide that it's a turbo 4

Pony car maybe?

Lol, the larger umbrella classification that includes the 4 series, camaro, c class coupe, mustang, A5, etc. They're too big to be sports cars, too small for luxury coupes, and usually not built on dedicated platforms like the Corvette or 911. A subset of the Grand Touring class

Right then, carry on!
